**backpack**: A simple two-strap pack to carry a number of small volume items.

**carry-on luggage**: (may be vacuum-rated at extra cost) simple rolling or stowable luggage suitable for short shuttle flights.

**checked luggage**: (may be vacuum-rated at extra cost) a larger rolling container, typically checked and stowed as cargo during flights.

**framepack**: A larger pack with frame suitable to lashing larger number of expedition items to.

**hardcase**: a reinforced carrying case with handle, optional locks, and padded interior for safely transporting fragile items or grouped items such as tool kits.

**messenger bag** or **purse**: a strap and bag for carrying a number of items load on one shoulder.

**pet carrier**: (may be vacuum-rated at extra cost) transport cage for small pets

**sack**: a mesh net with drawstring (and optional handles) to enclose and carry a number of larger, bulkier items.

**saddle bags**: suitable for draping over transportation or even over a shoulder.

**water pouch**: a small pouch of water or other drink with built-in straw suitable for use in microgravity.
