ATTRIBUTE RESERVES

Each of the Adventurer's Attributes have a score which ranges from -10 to 0 to +10.

In addition to the Attribute Score, there is also an Attribute Reserve of 10 points per point of Attribute Score.

These Attribute Reserve points act as a pool to track temporary loss of Attributes through use or damage.

For example, Adventurers have a Strength Attribute, which ranges from -10 to 0 to +10.

In addition to Strength the Adventurer also has a Strength Reserve.

Attribute Reserve Total Points

Each Attribute Reserve total ranges from 0 to 210.

During Adventurer creation, each Attribute Reserve is calculated with the formula ( 11 + Attribute Score ) x 10.

For example, if an Adventurer starts with a Strength of -10, then they would start with 10 total Strength Reserve points.

If an Adventurer starts with a Strength of 0, then they would start with 110 total Strength Reserve points.

If an adventure starts with a Strength of +10, then they would start with 210 total Strength Reserve points.

Tracking Current Attribute Reserves

Adventurers can track their current Attribute Reserve for each Attribute using a simple 1-10 points total.

When the Adventurer loses too much of a Reserve, the Attribute itself can be temporarily lowered by one (1) and the Attribute Reserve raised back to 10.

When the Adventurer rests and restores a Reserve, each 10 points restored can raise the Attribute by one (1) and the Reserve set back to 1 to continue restoring.
