While a planet or moon may provide many opportunities for adventure, many other activities the Adventurers undertake, such as survey exploration, resource hunting, colony support, military support, trading, treasure hunting, or salvage all require space transportation.

Every space vehicle requires a long list of specialized consumable items to successfully fly such as fuel, atmosphere mix, water, food, and spare parts.
