Overworked, understaffed, and underfunded, the Alliance Xeno-Archeology Agency (AXAA) formed to coordinate and regulate the investigation of the xeno-archeological treasure troves found in the Niecti star system.

Working closely with the Alliance Navy, AXAA operates and equips scientific expeditions and teams across the system to:

• Train and certify salvage and science expeditions
• Operate salvage stations investigating recovered derelicts
• Catalogue, investigate, and categorize recovered artifacts
• Limit the spread or export of potentially unsafe or disruptive xeno-technology outside of the Niecti star system
• Limit contamination and destruction of xeno-archeological sites, with an emphasis on Niecti colonization and growth planning
• Investigate, seize, and return illegally plundered xeno-archeological artifacts.
