With so many xeno-archeological discoveries and fortunes at stake, conflicts inevitably erupt between the individuals, factions, corporations, and governments within the Niecti star system, and the Alliance at large.
Resolving conflicts of any type involves the following:

The decisive moment in a conflict comes down to testing the abilities of both sides to see which prevails:

After finding the success or failure of each sides' actions or reactions, resolve the consequences:

Conflict Types
Adventurers may find themselves involved in four broad types of conflict following this general conflict outline:
- Social Conflict: negotiations, haggling, debates, seduction
- Martial Conflict: hand-to-hand, melee weapon, ranged weapon fighting, races, and chases
- Vehicular Conflict: races, chases, and demolition
- Supernatural Conflict: Using supernatural abilities such as magic, powers, or psionics against others
