SALVAGE SPACE: COLONIES

Surface: Modular construction can adapt to nearly any solid surface.

Underground: Colonies may be excavated within stable geographic areas, taking advantage of natural caverns or hollows.

Asteroid: A variation of underground colony builds includes asteroid excavation and potentially spinning the asteroid for simulated gravity.

Underwater: Planets and icy moons with significant hydrospheres may support modular colonies below the water or ice surface.

Aerostatic: Modular colony building supported aerostatically such as within the upper layers of gas giant atmospheres.
