SALVAGE SPACE: GOVERNMENTS
The realities of a frontier star system on the edge of explored space make answering the question “Who's in charge?” a difficult and sometimes perilous one.
Colonies, Outposts, and Stations scattered across the system shift and change management and allegiances often.
The presence of alien spacecraft graveyards littering the system complicates and exacerbates the already fierce competition to exploit the resources of a new star system.
Too much greed and too few law-abiding forces create the conditions for tense standoffs and “cold wars” between governmental blocs across the system.
A large undercurrent of risk and danger overshadows even the simplest aspects of day-to-day Chronology on the frontier.
